Recently I published a book, based on an actual event in my life, to do with doctor’s arrogance and cover up, as I experience it in Dublin Hospitals, in the 1960’s. It is a serious book. I called it The Foxhunter . It is selling on Amazon and in local book shops, so really I can’t complain. Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year! Last Christmas I bought oysters which I ate on the day. It is still my favourite. This year, a couple of nights ago, we went to Ferrycarrig Hotel in Wexford and no oysters were on the menu. However, I ordered mussels the first day, and they were delicious. So I ordered again, twice, from their menu during our two nights there. Mussels are bigger and the sea is much colder which suits them.

It was a great success. The photographer came to Farrell & Nephew Bookstore in Newbridge and took photographs. These were printed for Leinster Leader (Tues 20 Nov 2025).
